Generate Color Composites

Overview

To generate color composites, click on your desired image to select it, then click the Generate color composite button in the side panel.

This will bring up a dialog where you can customize your options.

  • Input layer: Select the layer you want to use for the color composite.
  • Processor:
    • Standard color: Use the red, green, and blue bands of the image.
    • Percentile stretch: Use a percentile stretch to enhance the contrast of the image. This can remove pixels that are saturated or too dark to be visible.
  • Output:
    • Auto RGB: Automatically select the bands for the RGB.
    • RGB: Manually select the bands for the RGB.
    • Grayscale: Use a grayscale image.
    • Spectral Index: Use a spectral index to enhance the contrast of the image. You can create your own spectral index or use one of the pre-defined spectral indices.

Once you are happy with your options, click Generate to generate the color composite. This will create a new color composite for the selected layer and make it the primary color composite.
