Preview and save color composites

The shared Run analysis dialog supports color composites, band math, PCA, endmember extraction, RX, matched filter, MTMF, and Deep learning inference. Review selected input layers and compatibility before running a single or batch analysis. See Analysis tools.

Explore RGB and single-image workspace Color composite analysis open RGB Explorer. Choose wavelength-aware presets or exact RGB/grayscale channels, inspect the live draft, and select Save RGB to create a saved layer. The active panel and tab are titled RGB Explorer.

Files, batch generation, and primary-composite editing use the same composition and processing controls in their dialog. Unsupported presets explain missing wavelength coverage. See Generate color composites.

Keep corrections as independent image versions

  • Destriping and cross-track equalization create a separate radiance version.
  • ISOFIT converts calibrated radiance into a separate surface-reflectance version without implicitly applying the other operations.
  • Sensor-grid imagery with a matching IGM can produce a separate orthorectified version.
  • Explorer groups the original and derived images under N versions, preserving the current selection when new results arrive.

Run radiance corrections before orthorectification. Each version retains its own identity and provenance. See Image versions and corrections.

Sensor-aware imports and defaults

Explicit imported sensor names resolve identity; missing names remain unassigned. Review or change the sensor in image properties. Sensor and tenant RGB defaults guide compatible new composites. See Sensors and RGB defaults.

Reliability and metadata

Correction scheduling retains launch work for retry when the worker queue is temporarily unavailable. RGB preview tiles render correctly, and wavelength units and correction descriptions identify selected data more accurately.

Generated outputs require scene-specific review. Processing time varies with scene size and available resources; successful generation does not establish scientific accuracy.
