Fusion 0.95.0

Availability: Included in Fusion 0.97.0. Alpha capabilities may require tenant-level enablement and can change in future releases.

Fusion 0.95 introduces a multi-view workbench and contextual collaboration while reducing the amount of application code loaded during startup.

Updated direction: Fusion 0.97 replaces the preview/pin navigation model described below with tabless default page navigation and explicit browser-like document tabs. See Fusion 0.97.0. The 0.95 entry remains as the history of the original workbench foundation.

Multi-pane workbench

  • Open Fusion Drive, Datasets, Models, resource details, and Spectral Explorer in one tabbed workbench.
  • Pin, reorder, and split views to keep related work visible side by side.
  • Use middle-click to retain the current view or open a destination beside it with drag or modified activation.
  • Restore workbench layouts locally and recover safely from invalid saved layouts.
  • Copy canonical resource URLs even when the resource is open inside a pane.
  • Keep Spectral Explorer mounted when explicitly retained so its canvas and local interaction state survive while another pane is active.

Project and workspace context move into the universal command bar alongside direct destinations, global search, Clarity AI, help, and account actions.

Contextual collaboration — Alpha

For enabled tenants, collaboration is attached directly to the resource being reviewed.

  • Start discussions on supported resources without leaving their current context.
  • Reply, mention teammates, save useful comments, and review notifications in a collaboration inbox.
  • Draft long-form reports with autosave, revision history, user or agent provenance, and controlled publication.

Live co-editing, attachments, approval workflows, external notification delivery, and metric-cell annotations remain outside this preview.

Startup and navigation

  • Authentication, workbench panes, and inactive dialogs load only when needed.
  • Spectral Explorer startup performs less redundant state and query work.
  • Project and workspace switching is available from the command bar without discarding retained panes unnecessarily.
  • Search results and workspace navigation open resources in the appropriate pane instead of forcing a full-page transition.

Known limitations

  • Collaboration remains Alpha and is not enabled for every tenant.
  • Workbench accessibility, narrow-screen fallback, and WebGL resource budgets continue through release qualification.
