Fusion 0.94.x
Availability: Released. This entry covers Fusion 0.94.0 and the production maintenance updates through 0.94.7.
Fusion 0.94 focused on clearer large-image exploration, safer imports, and more reliable labeling and analytical workflows.
Fusion 0.94.0
Large-image exploration
- Spectral Explorer adapts raster detail to the viewport, prioritizes visible tiles, and preserves exact viewport refinements.
- Orthographic and geographic views share bounded tile-cache budgets and avoid unnecessary work during interaction.
- The experimental Alpha threshold workflow gained bounded instant-detail areas and faster Map previews while retaining the saved server result as authoritative.
- Visible map layers are organized into a clearer working stack. Layers can be stashed, restored, or archived without deleting the underlying source data.
- Esri imagery can expose capture-date context in the map and pointer results.
Imports and processing
- Upload Data gained package-aware planning and review before submission, including recognized products, processing details, scale handling, quality layers, and actionable blockers.
- Imported packages retain source provenance for later review.
- Mixed-resolution STAC products are either rejected with a clear explanation or imported through an explicitly selected common-grid resampling path.
- ISOFIT atmospheric correction was introduced as a Fusion workflow with scheduling and activity tracking.
Labels and datasets
- Label features became database-authoritative, with safer concurrent edits, appends, imports, class changes, and copied-workspace migration.
- Label sets are preserved when labels are reclassified.
- Label overlays can render from multiple relevant image sources rather than only the active source. The source tree uses a crossed label icon for a disabled overlay and keeps the locate control in a stable position.
- Finalized datasets retain stable label snapshots.
- Dataset settings auto-select deterministic choices more quietly, and inactive detail tabs no longer retain unnecessary work.
- Dataset bucket assignment and drag previews provide clearer pending and rejected states.
Models and workspaces
- Model comparison is faster and supports direct management of compared versions.
- Training options are grouped into clearer sections, preserve compatible hyperparameters when model types change, and require an explicit best checkpoint metric.
- Project and workspace navigation gained a central context picker and remembered access to shared workspaces.
Specialized workflows
- Carbon and satellite workflows gained controlled-release scoring, scene review, manual plume tools, improved PRISMA delivery handling, and stronger task lifecycle checks.
- Raster artifacts, large transfers, TFRecord lifecycle evidence, and import status reconciliation were hardened to reduce incomplete or misleading results.
