Finalizing the dataset

New dataset​

To create a dataset, we need to go to the Datasets page by clicking on the Datasets button in the sidebar.

Click the New dataset button to create a new dataset.

Renaming the dataset​

Click on the dataset name at the top, and rename it from New Dataset to Plastics.

Assign data​

Go to the Data tab, and add your image to the Training bucket by dragging and dropping it into the box.

Configure dataset​

Go to the Overview tab, and set the Classes to PET, PVC, and HDPE. Set the Data level processed to Reflectance.

Assign the center wavelengths by clicking Select wavelengths and click the round dot of the first wavelengths.

Finalize dataset​

To finalize the dataset, click the Finalize dataset button.

Click the Finalize dataset button to finalize the dataset.

The dataset should finalize within a few minutes. We should see three distinct signatures in the average spectral signature plot.
