Target Wavelengths

Images and reference spectra can use different band centers. A dataset chooses one target wavelength set and resamples compatible sources to it.

Choose a target​

  1. Add Training images or reference spectra.
  2. On Overview, select the control beside Wavelengths.
  3. In Target wavelengths, review every source wavelength set and its image or spectral-signature count.
  4. Select the target radio button. The target set is always included.
  5. Confirm that the selected source sets have a usable overlap, then close the dialog.

When there is only one unambiguous source set, Clarity can auto-select it. Target wavelengths cannot be changed after the first dataset version has been finalized.

Select a custom range​

After selecting a target, use Custom Wavelength Range to enter band-index ranges or wavelength ranges in nanometres. Clarity maps the entry to target bands and validates that the selected wavelengths can be interpolated from the included sources. A valid custom selection is saved without removing source images or signatures.

Leave the custom range empty to use the full target overlap.

Resolve sources without common overlap​

If the source ranges do not overlap, remove an incompatible image or reference spectrum from its dataset bucket. For an existing version where Adjust wavelengths is offered, review the selected range carefully: adjusting can remove images and reference spectra that do not encompass that range.
