Reference Spectra

Reference spectra are used to synthesize training data for one or more classes. This is useful when you have a limited number of samples for a class, you are looking for a target in the image, or when you want to improve the accuracy of your model with known signatures.

To add reference spectra, open the "Reference spectra" section. You will see the classes that you added in the settings section. Click one of the classes to add a reference spectra from an available spectral signature library.

Reference spectra can be used for any model type except Regression.

Once the reference spectral dialog is open, you can either search for a signature (by clicking the search icon), or expand one of the libraries to view the available signatures. A checkbox is available to select whether to add the signature to the class. You can also view the details of each signature by clicking the document icon to the right of the + icon, this will allow you to see the spectra.
